Case Study - Cardium

“I was very surprised at how little wax was in my pig sender and receiver, the wax that was there was very soft and manageable”. - Mike

The operator was having issues with wax forming downhole, in their pipelines, as well as in their Y-strainers and meters. This well was on a monthly condy batch program but they were pigging 2x a month and were constantly cleaning their Y-strainers and meters.

After initial bench tests with our Para-Solvent and Paraffin blend of microbes, ReNuu pumped 10 liters of Para-Solvent and 200 liters of micro-organisms down the casing with the well shut-in over the weekend ~ 68 hours, at a minimal cost. This project had a significant positive ROI for the client, including increased production, and reduced operator time pigging, and cleaning production equipment.

THE RESULTS

Control of wax and a 10% increase in production for $400

In the tray is the wax from the pigging prior to our treatment, in the pig trap is the pig and wax from the pigging 16 days after our treatment. As the picture indicates, the operator immediately saw reduced wax, as well as a 10% production bump in both gas and emulsion. We started treating this well in early 2018, and continue to treat it monthly. We have have expanded this project throughout this customers Cardium production.
